  1. I have visited rice and spices store. It has very competetive store and has very good prices etc.
Atleast Ker and others have competition.

  2. Good prices. However limited selection. Definitely not a one stop shop for me until they keep more items like Paneer and more frozen foods.

  3. At last I found a store where I can complete my grocery shopping including vegetables. If you see the prices, they are very low when compared to Black Mountain road store or North park store. Before North park prices are low..but now I guess no one can beat rice and spices for sure. I’m a customer to tyhis store from past 1 year. One final thing is..excellent customer service, low prices, wide varieties..what you need more..??

  4. I saw the above reviews and went to this store. I have shopped twice so far.

Vegetables are definitely fresh and reasonably priced, although they do not put up the prices! It is a mystery till you go to the check out!

Many of their ready items (like some chats, etc.) tasted very stale, in other words they are stocking old expired items. So also was the story with their frozen parathas!

Most important was some of their Jams, Jellys and Rose petal jams (gulkhands). I bought one last week and it was totally dehydrated and dry. I took it to the shop to return and even though I had bought $76 worth of grocery just 3 days ago, they refused to take it back claiming I must have a receipt. They have no such thing posted in their store, so also no pricing posted for any item.

The shop attendant tried to get me the owner of the store on the telephone for me but she/he refused to talk to me. But it was interested that her first question to the attendant was whether the person complaining was an Indian!!! So may be they have a policy to screw Indian customers! I will never shop here again.

  5. I bought some atta (whole wheat flour) from this store without checking the expiry date (and, it was expired). Found it was stale after opening the bag. Not checking the date is my fault. But the owner won’t accept the return. He told me to talk to the manufacturer claiming it’s their fault. The logic for not giving a refund is that it’ll be a loss to him.

I will never shop there again. Everyone, please check the expiry date before buying anything.

  6. I have many problems with my browser WebTV Viewer on your site. The monkeys are in the system :-( .
